1050 aluminum coil chemical composition

1050 aluminum coil is industrial pure aluminum. Industrial pure aluminum has the general characteristics of aluminum, low density, good electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, good plastic processing performance, and can be processed into plates, strips, foils and extruded products. Gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding are available.

Industrial pure aluminum can not be heat-treated and can be strengthened by cold deformation. The only heat treatment form is annealing. The recrystallization starting temperature is related to the impurity content and deformation degree, generally around 200 °C. The annealed sheet has σb = 80 to 100 MPa, σ 0.2 = 30 to 50 MPa, ζ = 35% to 40%, and HB = 25 to 30. After 60% to 80% cold deformation, although the chaos can be increased to 150 ~ 180MPa, but the devaluation has dropped to 1% ~ 1.5%. Increasing the iron and silicon impurity content can increase the strength but reduce the plasticity, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The annealing softening characteristics and cold work hardening characteristics of 1200 (L5) industrial pure aluminum sheets are shown in the figure. It can be seen from the figure that the mechanical properties of different cold work hardening states can be obtained by adjusting the annealing temperature after cold deformation or controlling the cold deformation after annealing. In order to improve the formability, it is preferable to adopt the former method.
